Women's Bean Project and Denver selected for HGTV's Change the World Project!
Women's Bean Project will be featured as part of HGTV's Change the World. Start at Home campaign.
We Won! Thanks to HGTV’s Change the World program and your votes, Women’s Bean Project will receive exciting renovations to our building. In partnership with Rebuilding Together and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the HGTV program will bring needed repairs and improvements to our 1928 fire station. We plan to install an elevator and refinish the second floor to increase our production capacity, giving us the ability to serve more women.
Currently we are raising funds for installation of the elevator and equipment to accommodate our increased capacity. The work will begin April 14th and completed during the week of April 28th. HGTV will visit to film the project during that week, giving Women’s Bean Project an exciting opportunity for national exposure. For more information, click on the Change the World banner below.
